Nate Diaz vs Jorge Masvidal preview & predictions, UFC 244

UFC 244, led by the Welterweight duel between Nate Diaz vs Jorge Masvidal in New York, will mark the 500th UFC production of a live broadcast event.

Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz will be the two main characters leading the UFC 244 event - UFC's 500th live event in history, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, USA. The event will be broadcast live on ESPN +, Fox Sports on Sunday morning November 3rd. Two other stars, Darren Till and Kelvin Gastelum, will also feature in the co-main event.

One of the most popular athletes of UFC, Diaz's brother Nate Diaz (November 21th) returned after three years of sitting outside the ring in August, with a thrilling victory over Anthony Pettis. Although best known as the first boxer to make Conor McGregor lose at UFC, Nate Diaz has in fact shown himself with matches worth watching with Michael Johnson, Gray Maynard, Jim Miller and Takanori Gomi.

At the moment, Nate Diaz doesn't seem to have any intention of competing at the top. Perhaps challenging matches and new money are his goals.

Getting the love of many fans, Jorge Masvidal (34-13) owned the fastest KO victory in UFC tournament history after making a beautiful flying pillow, ending the match in just 5 seconds ago Bellator champion - ONE Championship Ben Askren. Masvidal also had top-notch matches against Darren Till, Donald Cerrone, Jake Ellenberger, and Cezar Ferreira, so it's not surprising that many viewers are expecting Masvidal to have another KO / TKO win.

Marking the 500th event of a live event, UFC promises to "match" the most intense matches.

Notable matches remaining at UFC 244 include:

Kelvin Gastelum (16-4) vs Darren Till (17-2)
