Israel Adesanya vs Robert Whittaker preview, UFC 243

Technique, ability to perform and achievements on the stage are what makes President Dana White convinced by Israel Adesanya ahead of UFC 243.

On Sunday, October 6th, Nigerian fighter Israel Adesanya will stand at UFC 243 in the match against middleweight champion Robert Whittaker to unify the championship.

Joining UFC from the beginning of 2018 with an 11-0 record in previous tournaments, Israel Adesanya continues to raise this number to 17 games to win against fierce rivals like Brad Tavares, Derek Brunson, legendary Anderson Silva or most recently Kelvin Gastelum in a temporary title match at UFC 234.

As a kickboxing fighter with a record of 75-5-1, Adesanya has a skillful, sharp, calculating and powerful fighting style. His technique is not only beautiful but also extremely effective that makes the audience excited in every blow, and UFC president Dana White, this is no exception:

"A technical striker" - Dana White describes Adesanya. “Punch, kick, each technique is really unbelievable, he can stay out of range of the opponent and still‘ dissect ”them. Speed, the calculation has been proved by 17 wins, 13 knockouts, those numbers are the most obvious evidence”.

“This kid makes everyone feel entertained, like a dancer. Adesanya creates a sense of attraction to the audience. That's what he has, things that will help him become a superstar in the future”.

Admitting he had doubts about Adesanya's ability to handle well-trained Wrestling fighters, Dana White believes that this weekend's match at UFC 243 will be the biggest challenge that 'The Last Style Bender' ever face to face.

“All of Adesanya's Wrestling worries disappeared after his match with Kelvin Gastelum. A talented martial artist and get used to the sport very quickly, however, this weekend his opponent will be Robert Whittaker, a boxer who can represent Wrestling Australia at an Olympic - that will be is the most difficult challenge in Adesanya's career”.

Having been raided at UFC 234 earlier this year, however, the injury caused Robert Whittaker to withdraw and replaced by legendary Anderson Silva who led the event with Israel Adesanya. After 6 months of waiting, Adesanya finally has the opportunity to unify the Middleweight championship belt at the upcoming UFC 243.
