Israel Adesanya is not confident about Robert Whittaker's ability to play at UFC 243

Interim middleweight champion Israel Adesanya is always ready to fight but he doubts the ability of the defending champion Robert Whittaker to appear.

President Dana White confirmed the official match between Israeli Adesanya and Robert Whittaker during the UFC 243 event to take place in Melbourne, Australia on October 6th this year.

Israel Adesanya defeated Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 235 in April to be nominated as one of the best war of the year. Nigerian fighters do not believe in Robert Whittaker's ability to return to the competition.

This is understandable because the defending champion Robert Whittaker often suffers injuries and misses many times to defend the belt. On the other hand, on Israel Adesanya, he played actively and became one of the most impressive performers (6-0 UFC) in less than 15 months.

During the interview at Submission Radio, "The Last Stylebender" did not hesitate to say doubts about Robert Whittaker preparing for this war.

“I'll bet out there to see if he's involved in this war. I always keep energy similar to the way I practice. I'm always ready to compete with him but I don't know if he can show up and compete with me. That's what always happened to him in the past”.

Israel Adesanya responded to criticism from Whittaker about the fight with Kelvin Gastelum. He confidently said that there was always preparation for the bloody battles. At the same time, "Young Spider" also knows how to train smarter champions to avoid injuries.

“Oh my god, my face is as swollen as a potato after that match, but I'm not knocked down to the floor. I remember letting Kelvin Gastelum lie down on the floor for five to six times. People can say whatever they want. I just calm down and keep the rhythm. I have experienced many difficulties. The way I practice is different, I know how to practice smart and appropriate. That is why I have no pain, injury and canceled many matches”.  Israel Adesanya hinted at Robert Whittaker's lack of smart training that led to many injuries.
