Conor McGregor hints a suprised return in 2019

It has been nearly a year without any match of Conor McGregor after losing at UFC 229 against Khabib Nurmagomedov. However according to UFC president Dana White, that does not mean that McGregor is escaping any rival.

In 2019, there were a lot of rumors about Conor McGregor's next match. The first was a match with Donald Cerrone and then Justin Gaethje, but it didn't all happen. Even then, Justin Gaethje's manager Ali Abdez-Aziz attacked McGregor because he thought he was hiding.

But according to Dana White, everything is completely different from the recent rumors. "No, Conor doesn't refuse anything. Listen, you can hear Ali say anything but definitely Conor never rejects the match. Conor is not the type of person, especially when things get tangled up and someone withdraws, he is still the only one to stay. He was never afraid to be asked to fight anyone, really".

McGregor did not hide that he really wanted to fight against Khabib Champion. But the problem is that Khabib was awarded the championship title with Dustin Poirier at UFC 242, and that is the crux of the incident.

If Khabib won again, McGregor] would definitely ask for a rematch to win the championship again. But what if the winner is [Porier? McGregor used to Poirier in 2015 when the two also competed in Featherweight and there would be a lot of options for McGregor.

"Conor is in a situation where he has to sit back and see how things work, but I think he should have a decision as soon as possible. Yes, and I think he will be back this year".
