The 15-year-old player beat Venus Williams in the first round of 2019 Wimbledon

The 15-year-old player beat Venus Williams in the first round of 2019 Wimbledon

Cori "Coco" Gauff, during her first appearance at Grand Slam, won the 39-year-old with a final result 6-4, 6-4.

At the age of 15, Cori Gauff is the youngest player to qualify in Wimbledon. With the win of Venus Williams after two sets, young American talent has yet to lose a set after four matches at Grand Slam. For the first time in a Grand Slam tournament, Cori Gauff showed a rare talent and composure. The 15-year-old has a similar style to Venus Williams, but moves faster than a senior.

Cori Gauff created a turning point when winning the game to help the ball and raise the score to 4-2 in the first set. Current world rank 313 player does not reveal much emotion after winning a break-point. Cori Gauff defends her own game to go to a 6-4 victory in the first set.

Venus Williams had no chance of winning the game to save the ball in the first half of the set, before losing another game to hand and to Cori Gauff leading 4-2. The owner of the seven Grand Slam awakened and equalized 4-4, but made many mistakes in the next game. Venus Williams' two-goal rush made it possible for Cori Gauff to score a counter-attack. The 15-year-old led 5-4 and handed the ball to the end of the match.

Venus Williams, who won four Grand Slam when Cori Gauff has not yet been born, is determined to stay with the match with impressive winner points. But Cori Gauff delivered an effective shot at important points, break-point rescue and eventually won 6-4, 6-4.

"I can't act out this emotion right now" Cori Gauff told BBC after the match. "I still do not believe this has happened. I have never cried after winning but today is the first time. My parents would be very happy. I saw Dad jump up after each of my scores".

"Cori Gauff delivered the ball and moved very well," Venus Williams commented on the juniors. "She plays better than me and deserves to win. Cori Gauff will be far ahead".

Before lowering Venus Williams, Cori Gauff lowered the number one seed seed of Aliona Bolsova Zadoinov and the seed No. 19 Greet Minnen, even after two sets. Florida-born player is the youngest person to reach the final of the young American Open, at the age of 13.

A year later, Cori Gauff won the Roland Garros 2018. This year, Cori Gauff is also the youngest person to have won a match in Grand Slam clay courts. She is expected to be America's new "Serena Williams". Cori Gauff has increased nearly 600 grades on the world scoreboard in the past eight months.

Cori Gauff will meet a good ball cutter Magdalena Rybarikova in the second round. Magdalena Rybarikova won easily the world rank 11 player Aryna Sabalenka 6-2, 6-4, yesterday July 1st.
