World number one player Novak Djokovic is cautious ahead of the third Grand Slam tournament of the year.

Novak Djokovic shared with Marca about the Grand Slam of Grass tournament kicked off on July 1: "I always want to set the highest possible goal and this year is no exception. I am holding the top of the world rankings and being the defending champion of Wimbledon, so the final will be a reasonable goal".

The owner of four Wimbledon titles is training with fellow countryman Viktor Troicki in Belgrade, Serbia. "Nole" will then train one more week on the grass in London to perfect the tactics before the third Grand Slam in the year.

The number one player in the world added: "The preparation is very important. The grass is where we play the least. This yard requires a different approach, a different approach and I need time to get acquainted".

Novak Djokovic identified Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal as his main rivals at Wimbledon this year. However, the Serbian player also emphasized that the upcoming Grand Slam tournament always converged the mutants.

"This year's tournament will be very exciting and a motivation for me to continue playing at the highest level for a long time," Novak Djokovic added.

Novak Djokovic was crowned at Wimbledon 2018 after defeating Rafael Nadal in the semifinals and Kevin Anderson in the final. If successfully defending the championship, the world number one player will receive a record bonus of $ 3.06 million.
