US Open 2019 preview: Roger Federer can't beat both Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic

Former tennis player Greg Rusedski said that Roger Federer could not win US Open 2019 to kick off the end of August.

"If I had to choose who to win the US Open 2019, I would choose Novak Djokovic or Nadal", former Rusedski player told the Express Sport. "Or the phenomenon is Daniil Medvedev. Federer is the third seed, and he almost certainly has to take down Nadal and Djokovic if he wants to win. Federer has had a chance at Wimbledon but can't do it. He has ever done that".

Greg Rusedski carries two British-Canadian bloodlines, each number four in the world and in the US Open 1997 final. He is currently a journalist for Amazon Prime. Roger Federer won five consecutive Grand Slam championships in the year, from 2004-2008. As the third number seed in the US to expand 2019, the Swiss player is definitely with the semi-final branch with Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic.

"Federer has not reached the US Open final since 2015, and the last time he won was in 2008", Rusedski added. "Apparently, Federer hasn't played well in New York in recent years. Has he come in deep or not? Yes, but championing is another story".

Federer prepared not good for the US to expand 2019. After losing to Djokovic in the Wimbledon final, "Express train" attended a tournament before Grand Slam in New York. In Cincinnati last week, Federer lost quickly in the third round, ahead of the 70s at the time, Andrey Rublev. The 62-minute defeat is the owner of the 20 Grand Slam's fastest defeat in 16 years.

The US expanded 2019 to start the competition on August 27th. Branching draw will take place tomorrow, August 23th.
