Novak Djokovic bursts into tears while hearing Kobe Bryant's name

In the post-match interview after beating Milos Raonic at the quarter-finals of the 2020 Australian Open, Djokovic shared his thoughts about Kobe Bryant.

Unlike Roger Federer, who managed to save seven match points to win the American tennis player Tennys Sandgren in five sets, Novak Djokovic easily defeated Milos Raonic in straight sets to advance to the semi-finals.

In the next match of the men's singles event of the 2020 Australian Open, he will face Federer to continue defending his champion title. However, it is not the only vital moment of the quarter-final match between Djokovic and Raonic.

After the match ended, Djokovic was asked about Kobe Bryant, who died a few days ago in a helicopter crash, and he burst in tears while answering the question.

At the moment, the accident is being investigated by the federal officials in America. According to some reports, Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Maria Onore Bryant were among nine people that were killed in a helicopter crash.

The accident also caused a slight fire in the region. Initially, the officials said that there were just five people that were killed in the accident, however, they soon updated the information.

After hearing about the accident, millions of people paid tribute to him and his daughter, including Novak Djokovic. The Serbian player said that Kobe was a great mentor and a friend to him.
