Australian Open - Round 2: Federer wins in 90 minutes

Facing Serbian tennis player Filip Krajinovic in round 2, Roger Federer easily defeated his opponent in straight sets.

After beating Steve Johnson at the first round of the 2020 Australian Open, Federer played another easy game against Filip Krajinovic, the fellow countryman of Novak Djokovic.

Although Krajinovic is currently ranked at the 41st place in ATP World ranking, he could not do anything to stop Federer from advancing to the third round.

After 90 minutes, Federer defeated him in straight sets by 6-1, 6-4, 6-1 score to face John Millman at the next round. This is a chance for him to make a 'revenge' after he was beaten by the Australian player at the 2019 US Open.

After the match ended, Roger Federer said he had low expectations this year, which meant that he did not think about winning more Grand Slam titles.

However, he still proved his level by advancing to the third round of the 2020 Australian Open without losing any sets. Like Federer, Novak Djokovic also advanced to the next round after beating the Japanese player Tatsuma Ito in straight sets.

Meanwhile, other seeds namely Matteo Berrettini, Benoit Paire, and Grigor Dimitrov was eliminated in the second round.

Tomorrow, the current No.1 seed Rafael Nadal will play, facing Argentinian player Federico Delbonis, while the former champion Stan Wawrinka is predicted to have a difficult match against Andreas Seppi.
