Nick Kyrgios sadly misses the 2019 China Open and 2019 Shanghai Masters

A shoulder injury in the recent Laver Cup 2019 has caused Australian player Nick Kyrgios to be absent from the two major tournaments in Beijing and Shanghai.

"Unfortunately, I had a problem with the collarbone when playing at the Laver Cup. I am forced to withdraw from the upcoming Asian tournaments. I will return to Australia to rest and recover. Hope. will see you all soon", Nick Kyrgios announced.

Despite a shoulder injury and missing the last day in the 2019 Laver Cup, the Australian tennis player still comes to Zhuhai to attend the ATP 250 here. However, Kyrgios lost the last 10/12 games against Andreas Seppi in the first round and was eventually eliminated.

Although I cannot make it to the China Open and the Shanghai Masters in the coming weeks, Kyrgios said I will try to attend the Paris Masters at the end of next month.

The China Open 2019 tournament takes place from September 30th to October 6th and the next week will be the Shanghai Masters.
