Daniil Medvedev: "Doping tests are not problems to me"

Daniil Medvedev:

Speaking about the controversies of Russian athletes, tennis player Daniil Medvedev revealed how many tests he used to take in his career.

At 23, Daniil Medvedev is the best Russian tennis player at the moment. However, he chose to live in Monaco instead of staying in Russia, which was normal with every tennis player.

Asked about the Russian athletes being not allowed to play in the 2020 Olympics, Medvedev said: "Of course, I am very disappointed as a Russian player. If I decide to play in the Olympics next year, I cannot raise my motherland's flag".

Moreover, Medvedev expressed that it was very hard for him to appraise this scandal. He was not an official of Russia federation, so he could not know the whole story.

Instead of worrying about it, Medvedev wants to rest after an exhausting season. After that, he will aim for Grand Slam titles in 2020. It is a possible target for him, especially when he reached the 2019 US Open final.

"I always work hard to play with my best", said Medvedev. "As a result, I do not care too much about doping tests. I took it from 20 to 30 times in my whole career".

"It does not bother me because I know I am not wrong in every situation. Even when I was a child, I predicted that would happen to me, so I am not obsessed".
