Alex De Minaur officially won the 2019 Atlanta Open

Beating Taylor Fritz 6-3, 7-6 (2) in the Atlanta final, Alex de Minaur won the second ATP title this season.

Spending 4 matches with 42 hand-held games, the 20-year-old Alex De Minaur only lost 7 points to one of 123 points in total and did not face any break-point, to become a young champion tournament history.

De Minaur is also the third champion since 1991 to take the throne without facing the risk of breaking games delivered, behind Haas in Memphis 2007 and Isner at Newport 2017.

In the 2019 Atlanta Open final, young Australian talents proved perfect in the crossings from the start.

De Minaur lost only one serve in the first set, before a left-footed volley ended the game after 78 minutes.

This is also the second ATP title in De Minaur's career after Sydney in early 2019.
