Defeating Billy Dib easily, Amir Khan set Manny Pacquiao as the next goal

The British puncher Amir Khan won over Billy Dib in just four rounds at the WBC International event.

Shortly after winning the former Australian champion Billy Dib in the first match in Saudi Arabia, Amir Khan sent a challenge to Manny Pacquiao for a Superfight match in 2020.

"I want to confront Manny Pacquiao in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia the following year," Khan said after winning.

This was Khan's first victory after 12 weeks of break because of a kidney injury in the match against unbeaten champion Terence Crawford. Terence Crawford and Amir Khan had defended in New York last April during the WBO match.

With Billy Dib having just over 2 weeks to practice and move the Featherweight weight to Welterweight. Many analysts say Khan's victory will come very easily.

True to speculation, Khan overwhelmed Dib in both speed and strength. The first KO of the match takes place at the beginning of the second half with a beautiful left hook. The match ended in the fourth half when Khan caused Dib to fall because of the powerful blow. Billy Dib's corner also threw a towel before the referee could count 10 numbers.

In addition to sending a challenge to Manny Pacquiao, Amir Khan also showed a very good martial spirit when he thanked Billy Dib for his participation in today's event.

"I want to thank Billy and his team for accepting the match with too short preparation time. We should give respect to Billy, he has won the world twice, and today Billy has played great".

As for Manny Pacquiao, he is still training to confront Keith Thurman on July 20th. Amir Khan believes that the ability of Manny Pacquiao to accept his challenge is very high because Pac-Man likes big matches and Amir Khan believes he can hold a big event with the investment of Arab Saudi giants.
