Rory McIlroy officially triumps the 2019 FedEx Cup

Northern Ireland Golfer Rory McIlroy scored a total of -18 at the Tour Championship, becoming the owner of a $ 15 million reward for the FedEx Cup champion yesterday.

After a lot of times when the Tour Championship has changed hands on the last day of competition, McIlroy is the last one to smile. Northern Ireland Golfer was crowned with four sticks that were second to Xander Schauffele. Even if FedEx Cup 2019 didn't use the new scoring method, McIlroy was still the champion at the Tour Championship. His 267 sticks (par280) after four rounds are the best at East Lake last week.

Heavy rain with thunder on the third day of the game forced most golfers to play two rounds on the last day of the competition. Justin Thomas took the advantage until hole 16 in round 3, but lost the top of the table because of triple-bogey. Brooks Koepka rose to the top after the morning with -15, while Xander Schauffele clung to the hole-in-one on the 9th hole. It was also a match where Chez Reavie scored an ace in the second round.

McIlroy birdie at the end of round 3 to get the same -14 score as Schauffele and walk into lunchtime with great confidence. The championship opportunity then opened with four golfers including Brooks Koepka, Schauffele, McIlroy and Thomas.

The race soon changed to the footsteps when Justin Thomas bogey pits the first round and lagged behind. Schauffele, the only birdie in the first three holes, rose to share the top of the table with Koepka. But in the afternoon there was no feeling of good play, Schauffele did not bring a sign of a safe round. Golfer was born in 1993 to constantly save the rough and bogey twice in the first nine holes.

The statistics don't make much sense in the fourth round. Rory McIlroy averaged 71.4 strokes (par70) at the final rounds of East Lake, but made solid steps with two birdies on holes 6 and 7. 2016 FedEx Cup champion doesn't bogey any time in the first nine holes. In the opposite direction, Koepka lost the ball on holes 7 and double-bogey for the first time after 142 holes.

Hole 7 is the turning point of the round. Koepka lost the top of the table to McIlroy and never reclaimed it. American Golfer birdie right next hole, but McIlroy also flourishes when he saves par on Hole 8 with a successful push from a distance of 22 feet.

Koepka seems to surrender when bogey continues three holes from hole 12 to hole 14, while McIlroy birdie is on holes 12 and 13. Now, the biggest threat to a 30-year-old golfer comes from Schauffele, birdies in hole 12 to return to the race.

The gap is reduced to two strokes when McIlroy bogey consecutively on holes 14 and 15. Schauffele draws par on the last four holes and waits for McIlroy to make a mistake, but the Northern Ireland golfer does not bogey any more. McIlroy birdie on holes 17 and 18 to be crowned with a total score of -18, four strokes compared to Schauffele. Thomas and Koepka ranked T3 with -13 points.

Last year I was at the end of the fourth round and couldn't compete with Tiger Woods", Rory McIlroy said. "But this year everything is different. I beat the world number one golfer (Koepka) and FedEx Cup champion. It feels so great. You know, a lot of things can change after a year".

McIlroy became the second golfer in the history of FedEx Cup champion twice. He was the first to win the Tour Championship and FedEx Cup in the same year, and was the first owner of a record $ 15 million record in golf village history.
