Thailand Football Federation officially appointed Akira Nishino to achieve big ambitions

Coach Akira Nishino will sit in the hot seat in Thailand. The press conference launched the Japanese military leader held in the coming time.

"Mr. Akira Nishino will become the head coach of Thailand national football team and Thailand U23 football team",  Thailand Football Federation confirmed with a picture of the Japanese military leader shaking hands with President Somyos Pumpanmuang.

Thus, Thailand Football Federation (FAT) and coach Akira Nishino finally find a common voice. The decision was made after the meeting between the two sides on July 1st. FAT side has President Somyot Pumpanmuang, and coach Akira Nishino side has him and his representative.

According to FAT, Mr. Akira Nishino will also lead the Thailand national football team and Thailand U23 football team. Both teams were in a state of absence when coaches Sirisak Yodyadthai and Alexandre Gama retreated one after another.

Earlier, it was reported that Mr. Akira Nishino and FAT did not find a common voice in terms of compensation. The Japanese military wants 100,000 USD per month, and this requirement is beyond the ability of FAT. However, the two sides eventually cooperated.

In his announcement, FAT called Mr. Akira Nishino an experienced coach with a series of teams like Japan U20 - Japan U23 football team, Kashiwa Reysol, Gamba Osaka, Vissel Kobe and Nagoya Grampus clubs. In 2018, he joined the Japanese national football team in the 1/8 World Cup round.

When leading the Gamba Osaka club, Akira Nishino won many achievements as the national champion in 2005, crowned at the AFC Champions League 2008. He was also twice elected as the best coach of J.League and was voted the continent's number one coach in 2008 by the Asian Football Federation.
