Thai League postponed due to coronavirus outbreak

The Football Association of Thailand (FAT) has announced its decision to put all Thai football tiers on hold owing to the concern about COVID-19 pandemic.

Recently, Thailand ‘s Public Health Ministry has considered raising the dangerous level of COVID-19 to level 3,  indicating a mass contagious disease as Thailand has confirmed 43 cases being infected with the coronavirus with one death.

In response to this initiative, the Thai government has implemented a ban on all gathering activities such as sports. As a result, FAT came to the decision of postponing Thai League 1-4 and other Thai cups until April 18.

Prior to the decision, Thai League had gone through four matchdays and True Bangkok United is reigning on top with an all-win record.
