You won't be hungry anymore! MFF spends a HUGE amount of money on football teams' meals

To solve the problem of food preparation in the Philippines, Myanmar Football Federation decided to cook itself instead of leaning on the host nation of the 30th SEA Games.

In the early days since coming to the Philippines, members of Myanmar men's and women's football teams were tired of poor living conditions.

The most serious issue is the hotel where they stay could not serve enough food for all athletes from various countries.

As a result, many Myanmar U22 players cooked themselves before the first match. Some of them claimed that they always felt hungry.

Therefore, to help men's and women's football teams play better at 30th SEA Games, Myanmar invited some cooks from their country to the Philippines.

They would serve two meals a day for more than sixty members when the food is sent to the hotel for about two hours before lunch. It is the most effective method in this situation.

According to an official of the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF), they spent about 40,000 Philippine pesos a day to feed two football teams, which is equivalent to 800 US dollars.

Before that, MFF bought hundred of tickets of the match between Myanmar U22 and Timor Leste U22, then gave away them for Myanmar supporters coming to the stadium.

MFF said they would work harder to support footballers aiming to conquer the gold medal at the SEA Games.
