Thailand U22 vs Vietnam U22 match is scheduled by FAT ahead of SEA Games 30th

Thailand U22 is looking to have a friendly match with Vietnam U22 in the near future before officially participating in the SEA Games 30th.

According to Siam Sport, Thailand U22 is heading to a friendly match with Vietnam U22 in the near future. Accordingly, this team wants to be rubbed and played with coach Park Hang-seo's team before entering the official matches at SEA Games 30.

Specifically, Siam Sport quoted assistant coach Issara Sritaro: “We want to have some friendly matches with other national teams before coming to SEA Games 30th. However, I am still in contact with some partners and wait for their confirmation. In particular, we hope to play friendly matches with Vietnam and the UAE”.

Assistant Issara Srito also revealed that the friendly match against Vietnam U22 will be an important stepping stone for Thailand U22 at the 30th SEA Games. Therefore, he hopes that these contacts will go smoothly.

In March, in the 2020 AFC U23 qualifier, Thailand had to suffer a 0-4 defeat against Vietnam in My Dinh Stadium. Before SEA Games 30th, Thai football is looking to meet strong opponents to rub and gain experience.

"In case the UAE and Vietnam refuse to play friendly matches with Thailand U22, we will contact the domestic clubs", the coach added.

Up to now, Vietnam Football Federation has not received any specific information from FAT. Accordingly, the team of Park Hang Seo is still aiming for an important friendly match with U22 UAE on October 13 here at Thong Nhat Stadium.
