REVENGE: Thailand used to treat Philippines team badly in the past and now they are retaliated

After being criticized harshly by the Thailand U22 team because of the poor preparations in the 30th SEA Games, some Filipino players revealed another story. According to them, Thai players do not have the right to complain.

"Please stop attacking us about the facility conditions in SEA Games. We know we did not prepare well, but we are trying to do it better and better.

As a result, we hope other teams to support us", said Alejandro Baldo Jr., the former player of Philippines U22 team.

He added: "And you should know about this: We used to get through the same thing when we traveled to compete at international matches".

To prove what he said is true, Alejandro shared a video recorded in 2012. It was when he and other players of the Philippines U22 team attended the qualification round of the AFC U22 Championship in Thailand.

According to Alejandro, their double-decker bus prepared by the host country Thailand got some problems on the road from the stadium to the hotel in Bangkok. There were no substituted buses so that Filipino players had to get out to push it in a broad daylight.

Alejandro believes there was a big difference between the way Filipino and Thai players response in difficult circumstances. While the Philippines U22 team considers it one of the most interesting experiences in their career, the Thailand U22 team thinks they are treated as slaves.

In the past, people have never known about those stories, because they chose to keep silent as well as to complain about nothing.

From Alejandro's point of view, there were not many players have a chance to play abroad, so they should appropriate instead of complaining too much.
