Indonesia called the 38-year-old striker to aim the SEA Games 30th's gold medal

The Football Association of Indonesia has recently made a list of U22 teams in preparation for the SEA Games 30th in November with the appearance of veteran Alberto Beto Goncalves.

Indonesia recently made a list of players preparing for the 30th SEA Games in the Philippines at the end of this year. According to SEA Games 2019 men's football rules, each team other than the U22 age will be allowed to use 2 more players who are too older than 22 years.

This change is expected to increase the competitiveness of the tournament while making the match more attractive. And to help Indonesia U22 to strengthen the attack, the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) has recently made a list of players, including the participation of Alberto Beto Goncalves, the 38-year-old Brazilian-born striker.

Despite being a veteran, Beto is now the mainstay of the Indonesian national team. The striker scored twice against Malaysia in the opening match of Group G of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier (AFC region) in September.

In addition to Goncalves, midfielder Evans Dimas, Zulfiandi, defenders Manahati Lestusen and Hansamu Yama Pranata are also included of the overage players added to Indonesia's U22+2. All of these faces are on the national team of Indonesia. Only two names will be retained to compete in the Indonesia U22 shirt in the upcoming SEA Games.

According to the draw results at the 30th SEA Games, Indonesia U22 is in Group B with Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Laos, and Brunei. Men's SEA Games 30 men's soccer matches will take place from November 25th to December 10th.
