BELIEVE IN TOSHIYA MIURA: Former Vietnam team head coach to predict Theerathon to win J1 League AGAIN

According to Toshiya Miura, Theerathon Bunmathan and other Yokohama F-Marinos players have a great chance to defend the league title.

Last year, despite the fact that Tokyo FC had led the J1 League for several months of the 2019 J1 League season, their top position was taken by Yokohama F-Marinos at the last rounds.

However, from the perspective of Toshiya Miura, the former manager of the Vietnam national football team, it was not just an accident.

Unlike Tokyo FC and other J1 League clubs, Yokohama F-Marinos showed a stable performance in 2019, and they would go on doing that in the 2020 season.

As a result, the chance for Thai defender Theerathon Bunmathan and other Yokohama F-Marinos players to successfully defend the league title is very high.

However, they should train harder to compete against other candidates for the J1 League champion namely Kawasaki Frontale, Tokyo FC, and Kashiwa Reysol.

Miura is also optimistic about the position of Consadole Sapporo, the team that Thai Messi Chanathip Songkrasin is playing for. He believes his former club to finish the 2020 J1 League season in the 5th place, higher than that of Vissel Kobe (7th).

However, Teerasil Dangda's Shimizu S-Pulse has to fight at their best to avoid the relegation zone. Until this moment, Miura's predictions seem to be right when Kashiwa Reysol just thrashed Consadole Sapporo by a 4-2 victory.
