RESCHEDULED: Indonesia team will play 3 World Cup qualification games in 1 MONTH!

Due to preventing the risks of the coronavirus outbreak, matches between the Indonesia national team and Thailand, the UAE, and Vietnam will be postponed until October.

To be specific, the Garuda team will play against Thailand on October 8th before taking on the UAE five days later. After that, they will face the Vietnam team on November 12th.

It is predicted to be a very interesting match when coach Shin Tae Yong has a chance to meet his fellow countryman Park Hang Seo, who won great achievements with the Vietnam team in recent years.

Park was one of the reasons that made Shin decide to work with the Indonesia team instead of numerous Chinese and Japanese clubs. After that, he will guide the Garuda team to compete in the 2020 AFF Cup.

Originally, the Indonesia team under the guidance of South Korean coach Shin Tae Yong will play against Thailand on March 26th. A few days later, the Indonesia team will take on UAE before facing Vietnam on June 4th.

However, that schedule was changed because of the coronavirus outbreak. Recently, Indonesia confirmed that there were numerous patients suffered from the COVID-19 virus in their country.

As a result, they had to issue some regulations to prevent the risks of the epidemic outbreak. One of them is to hold all national league matches behind closed doors, and they also considered delaying following FIFA's order.
