Rejecting the Indonesia team's offer, Shin Tae-Yong will coach in China?

According to Chinese media, manager Shin Tae-Yong turned down the chance to work with the Indonesia national football team. Instead of that, he will likely guide a team in the Chinese Super League next year.

Last month, Shin Tae-Yong was the most favorite candidate to become the manager of the Indonesia team.

If the former head coach of the South Korea team had agreed to sign the contract with PSSI, he would have received a huge salary, which was more than Park Hang Seo's and Akira Nishino's earnings.

As an official of PSSI said before, the Indonesia team needs to be under the guidance of a world-class manager to become better. However, the process of negotiation between two sides was tackled by a Chinese football club.

Shin preferred working in China next year, which made PSSI return to the former manager Luis Milla.

From the early meetings with PSSI in Manila, Milla said he did not guarantee that the Indonesia team would improve their performance under his advice.

Milla also blamed to Indonesian players when the results were bad. Therefore, it seems that PSSI is looking for another candidate in the future.

In the case of Shin Tae-Yong, he will have more chance to challenge himself in China after managing Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma to conquer the AFC Champions League in 2010. With the honors in the past as a manager, he can get a job at any Asian team at the moment.
