Myanmar plays a friendly match against China before the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier

Myanmar football team has scheduled a friendly match with the Asian giant, China ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifier which will start in September.

Myanmar is located in Group F of the second round of 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the AFC Asian Cup 2023, which has the presence of Japan, the Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Mongolia. Meanwhile, China is placed in Group A next to Syria, the Philippines, Guam and the Maldives.

Myanmar football will open its campaign by match with Mongolia on September 5 before facing former Asian champion Japan on September 10.

The friendly match is expected to be held at Huong Ha National Football Training Center in Langfang, China, a few days before the first match of the qualifier on August 30th.
