Malaysian veteran remain confident before World Cup qualifying clash at Bukit Jalil

Veteran Aidil Zafuan Radzak has made a speech before the vital match between Malaysia vs Vietnam in the 2022 World Cup qualifying in March.

The FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifier (Asian zone) will continue in the end of March. Group G is considered the 'Group of Death' as all 4 teams Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand and the UAE still have the opportunity to decide their own fate.

The match between Malaysia vs Vietnam will greatly determine the outcome of Group G. Park Hang Seo's team is at the top of the table with 11 points thanks to a series of 5 consecutive unbeaten matches. Otherwise, Malaysia is right behind with 9 points after its impressive breakthrough. Therefore, an unsatisfactory result will make the two teams difficult in the next stage as well as open the door to surpass other opponents.

To raise the morale of the players in the upcoming match, veteran center-back Aidil Radzak sent a 'battle letter' to the Vietnamese team. Sharing with the national media, the 33-year-old defended:

'The second position of the Malaysian team is deserved to the spirit of our steel warriors. If we keep our focus on the next matches, we will do a lot of unthinkable'.

This is not the first time the Malaysia national team captain has made such statements. In the first leg, Aidil Radzak also announced that he would claim the debt after his defeat to Vietnam in the final of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018. However, all his team can do was a defeat 0-1 against coach Park Hang Seo's team.

At the next match, Malaysia is likely to have a quality addition to the new naturalized players. The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has completed the procedures and waited for FIFA to announce the decision to accept citizenship proposals for Liridon Krasnniqi (Kosovo) and Guiherme De Paula (Brazil). FAM is hoping the duo can appear in the match vesus Vietnam.
