Indonesia vs Thailand team news & preview: Thitipan and Peeradon injuried

Let us come to the latest team news, preview as well as predictions ahead of clasch between Indonesia vs Thailand in group G of 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier (AFC).

After ending the match with Vietnam in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Asia, coach Akira Nishino had to receive unhappy information about the situation of the force. Two players, Thitipan Puangchan and Peeradon Chamratsamee, have recently been asked to withdraw from Thailand because of injury. This will be a huge loss for the "War Elephants" before they have to come to Indonesia as a guest on September 10th.

In the confrontation with Vietnam, Thitipan Puangchan is one of Thailand's most prominent players. Playing in the central midfield position, Thitipan showed his mobility. With the support of teammate Sarach Yooyen, Thitipan was able to move freely and was always ready to invade the penalty area. Many times people see Thitipan is the final destination of the coordination lines on the Thai side.

However, the play was so wide that Thitipan had a problem at the end of the match and had to leave the field to make way for Peeradon Chamratsamee after 77 minutes. Peeradon completed the match but then also suffered an injury.

The Thai doctor said: "Thitipan has torn thigh muscles. He also bleed a little but it was a small wound, not too significant. The tendon in his knee also had problems. "With such injuries, Thitipan will take 4-5 weeks to recover. So we think it is best to let him return to the club".

With Thitipan and Peerado unable to continue the focus this time, coach Akira Nishino had to call two additional players, Patcharapol Inthanee (Muangthong United) and midfielder Anon Amornlerdsak (Bangkok United). Anon Amornlerdsak was a member of Thailand U23 squad for the Asian U23 qualifier, while Patcharapol Inthanee was one of those eliminated when coach Akira Nishino closed the list of 23 players for the World Cup qualifiers.

In the second round of Group G, Thailand will have a very difficult trip to Indonesia. This match will take place on September 10th.
