Tottenham Hotspur successfully loans Lo Celso with a purchase clause of £ 60 million

In the final minutes of the 2019 summer transfer window, Tottenham Hotspur successfully loaned midfielder Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis with a £60m buy-out clause.

The Champions League runner-up finally reached an agreement with Real Betis in the transfer deal of midfielder Lo Celso. Specifically, Tottenham Hotspur will borrow a season with a definitive purchase clause worth £ 60 million for a 23-year-old Argentine player. The 23-year-old attacking midfielder will wear the 18th shirt at the London club.

Lo Celso started playing professionally at Rosario Central. Impressive performances during his time at the Primera Argentina team and the Copa Libertadores helped him move to PSG in the summer of 2016.

After a half-year loan in Rosario Central, Lo Celso returned to the French club in early 2017 and has 54 appearances, scoring 6 goals in every competition.

He was on loan at Real Betis in the 2018/19 season. Here, Lo Celso played very well with 16 goals in 45 games and was bought by Betis.
