The player-coach Keisuke Honda has posted on his personal social media page hoping to play for Man United after he no longer plays for Melbourne Victory Club.

"Give me an invitation. I don't need money but Manchester United want to play football at a great club, with great teammates", Keisuke Honda wrote on his personal page.

Honda, 33, is not joining a club after parting ways with Melbourne Victory in the Australian Championship. As a freelance player, Honda tried his luck by posting job search on his personal page.

It is not difficult for fans to realize that this is a funny status line of Japanese players. On the other side of the slope, Honda is difficult to return to the peak football environment, not to mention joining a big club like Manchester United.

Keisuke Honda is one of the most famous Japanese players. In his career, he used to play for many famous clubs like Nagoya Grampus, VVV-Venlo, CSKA Moscow, AC Milan and Pachuca, before going to Australia to play.

Many fans cheerfully teased Honda. One account wrote: "Manchester United should sign with Honda, so they will not have to worry about free-kicks".

"If Honda is English, Solskjaer has signed the contract right away because this coach likes English players. It's a bit unlucky for Honda when he is Japanese again", a supporter commented.

Not joining any club but Honda is the coach of Cambodia. Currently, Honda and his players have entered the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier. The Cambodian Football Federation has appointed Honda since last year, but the coach's time in Cambodia is not really much.

Busy playing for the Melbourne Victory Club, Honda can only direct students from afar. Because of that, he was nicknamed "Coach online". At the AFF Cup 2018, Cambodia team & Honda was eliminated from the group stage.
