Refuse to join Manchester United, this World Cup super striker will play in CHINA!

Instead of considering to join Manchester United in the winter transfer window, striker Mario Mandzukic will likely play for the Chinese club Dalian Yifang.

In recent years, Chinese clubs proved that money could buy everything, with Dalian Yifang was a good example.

They finished the 2019 season with the ninth position in the Chinese Super League even though they spent a huge amount of money for European stars.

Currently, they have Salomon Rondon, Yannick Carrasco and Marek Hamsik in the squad guided by head coach Rafael Benitez. However, Dalian Yifang's officials thought that those stars were not enough for aiming greater achievements in 2020.

As a result, they started launching a few negotiations to brings more foreign stars to the club. One of them was Mario Mandzukic, the most wanted target of Manchester United in the winter transfer window.

According to Chinese media, it seemed that Mandzukic agreed with the offer from the Chinese club. At 33, he believed that the best option for him was to play football in another continent in which he could earn more money while playing football under less pressure.

To acquire Mandzukic, Dalian Yifang will pay approximately 10 million transfer fee for Juventus. If that deal becomes true, Manchester United will find another striker in the winter transfer window.

At the moment, they need to have more forwards as a back-up option for Anthony Martial.
