A Chinese team wants to pay Gareth Bale twice as high as Cristiano Ronaldo's wage

The Chinese club is ready to turn Gareth Bale into an unprecedented high-paid player in football history.

According to El Chiringuito, an unnamed Chinese club is willing to pay £ 1.2 million a week to invite Gareth Bale to compete in the Chinese Super League. The Welsh star can pocket £ 60 million a year and become the highest-paid player in world football history.

Gareth Bale's current salary at Real Madrid is £ 600,000 per week (before tax). The player who was born in 1989 has no intention of leaving the Bernabeu despite being scrapped by manager Zidane next season.

The highest paid player in the world today is Lionel Messi. Superstar Argentinians pocket 40 million pounds per year. The player right behind is Neymar with an income of £ 31.7 million per year. Cristiano Ronaldo after agreeing to join Juventus also became the highest paid player in Serie A history with £ 27 million per year.

The unnamed giant in the Chinese Super League is willing to double Gareth Bale's salary, but wants to own him for free. This is unlikely when Real Madrid are looking to recoup £ 100 million to recruit Welshman from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013.

Coach Zidane publicly declared Gareth Bale out of the plan with a statement after the defeat to Real Betis in La Liga last season: "There is no right to substitute, Gareth Bale is not allowed to come on".

Meanwhile, the Welsh player is still calm. Gareth Bale insisted on staying at the Bernabeu to earn a dream salary. If Real Madrid wants to fire him, they will have to pay a huge contract compensation fee.

"Los Blancos" is trying to push Gareth Bale out of the Bernabeu this summer. The former Champions League winner brought the 29-year-old striker as part of a contract to buy Paul Pogba, but was refused by Manchester United.

Gareth Bale has joined Real Madrid since 2013. He played 231 matches, scored 102 goals and won many titles, including a La Liga championship, 4 Champions League trophies.
