Indonesian young star to play in Europe

Indonesian rising star Witan Sulaeman has confirmed his move to Serbian Super Liga side FK Radnik Surdulica.

The 18-year-old has joined the rank of ASEAN’s most gifted youngsters like Vietnamese Doan Van Hau, Thai Ben Davis to further develop their talents on European soil.

Whereas these previous transfers have proven to be beneficial for the players themselves as they got to play at a high football level and improve physically, tactically, technically and mentally, the same can be expected from the young Indonesian winger.

Sulaeman has demonstrated many promising traits with his magical left foot, contributing greatly in the performance of Indonesia U19 at the 2017 Toulon Tournament, an annual international youth football tournament, along with Indonesian prodigy Egy Maulana Vikri.

Vikri and Sulaeman are now the only Indonesian footballers playing in Europe with the former competing in Poland and the latter in Serbia.

Serbian Super Liga has been a platform for some of the greatest football talents such as UEFA Champions League winner Dejan Stankovic or solid defender of Manchester United Nemanja Vidic.

Committing to the training and making the most of every opportunity to go on the field, Sulaeman is expected to progress even further and maybe follow the footsteps of the greats mentioned above.
