SHAME: China U23 captain Chen Binbin believes his team will lose again

One day before the last match in the group stage against Iran U23, captain Chen Binbin said his team had no chance to resist Iran from scoring.

Last week, China U23 team players were confident to say that they competed in the 2020 AFC U23 Championship to qualify for the Olympic men's football event. However, they were one of the first teams that were eliminated at the group stage by back-to-back defeats.

While losing the first game against South Korea U23 team was an unlucky result when China U23 conceded in the injury time of the second half, the next battle against Uzbekistan U23 was a failure.

In that match, the China U23 team had no shots on target, and they were dominated by the opponent in every minute of the game. Consequently, they are standing in the bottom place of Group C.

In theory, they can improve their position by defeating Iran U23 in the last match, however, even China U23 team players do not believe in that result.

Captain Chen Binbin said that after being eliminated at the group stage, every player cried because they lost the Olympic dream.

Binbin also thought that his teammate had a psychological problem, making them unable to play with their real strength in the tournament. Unlike them, the Iran U23 team still has the motivation to win the last match, so they will likely win that game easily.
