MISERY: Jordan miss these 3 STARS in Thailand next month

Recently, the Jordan Football Association has announced a list of 23 players who will attend the upcoming 2020 AFC U23 Championship in Thailand.

On Friday (December 20th), the Jordan Football Association (JFA) and head coach Ahmed Abdel Qader has closed the list of 23 players who will attend the 2020 AFC U23 Championship in Thailand.

Among the 23 Jordan players brought to Thailand, the most notable star: midfielder Musa Al-Taamari is not on the list. This is because the APOEL club of Cyprus only accepts the release of midfielder Al Taamari after the end of the derby match with Anorthosis Club on January 12nd.

As such, he will miss Jordan's first two matches with North Korea (January 10th) and Vietnam (January 13th). Therefore, JFA is still considering the case of this star.

This is certainly a huge loss when Al-Taamari is considered to be the greatest expectation of Jordan U23 in ambition to win tickets to the 2020 Olympic Games. Despite being only 22 years old, Al-Taamari has been the mainstay of the Jordan national team as well as APOEL Club.

Besides Al-Taamari's case, Jordan U23 also suffered heavier losses when this team cannot have the appearance of stars midfielders Yousef Abu Jalboush and Mohammed Abu Zureik due to injuries. In particular, Mohammed Abu Zureik was once noticed and negotiated by the Greek AEK Athens Club. These will be huge losses for Jordan U23 in the upcoming important tournament.
