Coach Kiatisak sets fire for Thailand U23 before the 2020 AFC U23 Championship

Coach Kiatisak Senamuang believes that the experience and the cheering of the audience will be the key to help Thailand U23 succeed in 2020 AFC U23 Championship.

Former head coach Kiatisak Senamuang has had time to lead both the national team and Thailand U23 and has achieved success in both the region and the continent. After seeing the results of the 2020 AFC U23 Championship, "Zico Thai" judged this was a difficult group but not without a chance with Thailand U23.

“Thailand U23 will compete in 2020 AFC U23 Championship and we are in Group A with U23 Iraq, U23 Australia and U23 Bahrain. This is a very difficult group with young players. I want to encourage the players as well as the coaching team. We have met all three teams at different team levels, and still often win against them. So nothing is impossible”.

Being in the same table with the big players of Asian football like Iraq or Australia makes Thai football fans pessimistic about the performance of the home team in this tournament. However, coach Kiatisuk believes that with this player's rich experience, U23 will make a miracle in the tournament next year and hope the fans will always be with the players.

“Thai U23 players have a lot of international playing experience. A few players have been playing in the national team and are pillars of their clubs. In order to overcome difficulties in the next tournament, Thailand U23 must first play with high determination and fearless spirit. Secondly, we will play at home, I believe that Thai football fans will always be there to support the players and help them play better in important matches”.

The 2020 AFC U23 Championship finals will take place from January 8th to January 26th, 2020 in Thailand. This is also the qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The three best teams in this tournament will be together with hosts Japan representing Asia to attend the Olympics next year.
