Evander Holyfield vs Riddick Bowe to be scheduled as the USA legend closes to return

Legendary Evander Holyfield who retired - intends to return to the ring to confront the fierce rival Riddick Bowe.

After retiring in 2011 with a victory over Brian Nielsen, Evander Holyfield unexpectedly decided to return to the ring to face Riddick Bowe (52). Both veteran fighters were the top fighters in the 90s decade.

Holyfield and Riddick Bowe had fought each other between 1992 and 1995 with two victories for Riddick Bowe. However, Holyfield wants to fight again.

At the moment, Holyfield is trying to arrange the match in Japan and he is confident of the fourth confrontation with Bowe.

"I had some arrangements in Japan, but no one can say anything right now", Holyfield said.

“Hopefully it will take place but currently no one has told me about the match. It would be great if we could do the match, but otherwise, it would be fine. I really want to fight Riddick Bowe. We are friends. And the money they are negotiating is also quite attractive for three rounds”.

“Yes, I can do it. I'm ready".

Holyfield is not the only veteran who intends to return to the ring. Nigel Benn, now 55, also intends to return after 23 years of retirement. Unfortunately, the shoulder injury did not allow him to continue, he had to cancel the match when there was only one month left to take place.
