The Spanish striker Marc Gasol has just activated the Player Option clause and stayed in the Canadian team for another year.

Toronto Raptors announced that Marc Gasol will stay with Scotiabank Arena for another season under Player Option. The Barcelona-born player will receive US $ 25,595 million in the final match of his contract with the NBA 2019 champion.

The 2006 FIBA World Cup champion has turned 34 and may receive a lower salary if he becomes a free player. Gasol had 11 years with the Memphis Grizzlies before moving to the Toronto Raptors in an exchange in February.
