The Cote d'Ivoire Basketball League will hold a training camp in Orlando, Florida and will have a few friendly matches with the Spanish, Italian and Filipino basketball teams to test the squad before giving 12 names final.

"It is a perfectly prepared plan, we hope the team will make Cote d'Ivoire people and our wife and children proud when we play in China," said the 31-year-old. "Playing at the opening match will be difficult for any team. I am sure Chinese fans will put a lot of pressure on the rest of the teams, but we will not be intimidated. We have nothing to lose and the team will take our chances before the home team. That will be the most difficult match for us. Hopefully things won't be that hard when we meet the Polish and Venezuelan basketball teams".

In order to qualify for the knockout round, Cote d'Ivoire will have to reach the top 2 in Group A. If that happens, they will go to Foshan and compete with one of the four names in Group B (Nigeria, Russia, Korea and Argentina.)

"I was really excited about my second chance to play at FIBA World Cup and looking at this list of players, I believe we will create a lot of surprises there," the 1.89m defender hit strong.
